10 Reasons To Trust Us

Trusting a practitioner with your health is a leap of faith. Are they going to help me? Is it going to be a waste of money? Manual practitioners are usually either osteopaths, chiropractors or physiotherapists. Each must be accredited and registered with Government health organisations. While the emphasis and techniques used differ by course – fundamentally each practitioner wants to help you get better.

So, rather than focus on the technical differences between practitioners and practitioner types, below is a top 10 checklist that we encourage you to use when assessing a potential practitioner.

img-11. Demand a full body treatment

Will your practitioner treat your whole body, from your head, ribs, and spine to your pelvis and legs?

It’s important that your practitioner focuses on treating your whole body. If only one area is treated – a key contributing condition may be missed.

Inlign Osteopathy will always give you a full body treatment

It’s your health. Ensure that your practitioner explains both your symptoms and the treatment techniques used.

By being informed, you’re in a better position to stay healthy for longer.

Inlign Osteopathy will always explain all conditions in clear English and seek consent prior to performing treatment techniques

Choose a practitioner who has recognised qualifications across the connected areas of biology and pathology. Ideally, further backed by supervised practice.

Some practitioners only have short course qualifications.

Osteopaths at Inlign Osteopathy are university qualified and have completed supervised practice for at least 2 years

Your health should be noticeably improving with each treatment – but not be reliant on treatments.

If treatments are not appearing to benefit you, seek a second opinion

Is this a sweet deal or can it turn sour?

Sometimes the deal is genuine – other times practitioners may try and recover this cost by scheduling unnecessary treatments.

Inlign Osteopathy doesn’t focus on gimmicks. We focus on getting patient results as quickly as possible.

img-88. Demand a treatment on your first visit

You may not believe this, but some practitioners won’t treat you during your first visit. Instead they’ll just chat or show you a video.

Sounds ridiculous right? Especially if you are experiencing pain.

Inlign Osteopathy will always treat you, unless a serious complication is found.

img-99. Avoid treatment plans

Some practitioners will insist on a pre-paid treatment plan.

In general, you may require two treatments, possibly four – but it’s impossible to determine gauging how your body responds to the first treatment.

Inlign Osteopathy does not use treatment plans. We only request necessary treatments.
